Sasquatch Music Festival: A Recap
I'm baaAck! *ominous music begins and slowly fades away*
As many of you know I was away for a little while, and during that little while myself and a few of my friends took a trip to Sasquatch music festival! Over the long weekend we ventured out to the Washington Gorge to camp for four days in the place where anything goes, and you're weird if you don't cover your entire body with paint or glitter and dance until 2am.
I'm not sure if you'd seen the lineup for Sasquatch this year, but it was pretty prime.
There were about 30 acts I wanted to see and I managed to catch just about every single one, making for one jam-packed weekend. I saw some acts I loved, some that were just flat-out insane, and discovered some new music as well. There were a crazy amount of DJ's in the lineup and I swear I didn't miss one of them. There was always one at the end to kind of wrap up the night so everyone could catch one last dance party before the trek back to the campsites around 1am; sleep really is not an option as Sasquatch, but somehow you manage to keep your energy up just enough for 4 days.
I wasn't able to gain access to a photo pass for this year, although something tells me it wouldn't have been hard to get, but I did bring along various ways to photograph the event including a 35mm disposable film camera. I snapped away during the festival, and when I had it developed was pretty blown away at what I had managed to capture. These aren't really edited in any way, so excuse the crookedness of a few of these, but I leave you with these photos to enjoy while I rest up before I get back to reality.
Will I be seeing you at Sasquatch next year?
